Full job description

Da Savory Spoon is looking for reliable and energetic Server Assistants / Food Runners to support our front-of-house team and help keep service running smoothly, especially during busy periods.

Responsibilities:

  • Run food from the kitchen to guest tables promptly and accurately.
  • Clear used plates, glasses and cutlery from tables.
  • Clean, sanitize and reset tables for incoming guests.
  • Prepare, organize and restock cutlery, napkins, glassware and other service supplies.
  • Keep dining areas and server stations clean and organized.
  • Assist servers with basic guest requests and support them during busy service.
  • Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to help ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Complete assigned opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking.

Requirements:

  • Friendly, reliable and able to work well as part of a team.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is an asset but not required.
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts is preferred.
