Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes with precision, consistency, and flair.
• Ensure all food preparation meets safety standards and follows proper food handling procedures.
• Assist in meal planning, ingredient selection, and portion control to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations.
• Serve dishes efficiently while providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Follow recipes accurately while adding creative touches to enhance flavor profiles.
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating supply needs promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchen roles, preferably within the Indian cuisine sector.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, meal preparation processes, and food industry standards.
• Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable; experience in the Indian food industry is a plus.
• Enthusiastic team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude toward food service excellence.

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
