Job Title: Cashier / Front Counter Team Member – Indian Restaurant

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Desi Chaapwala is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Cashier / Front Counter Team Member to join our growing Indian street food restaurant in Etobicoke.

If you enjoy working with customers, can communicate confidently, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take dine-in, takeout, phone, and online orders accurately
  • Operate the POS system and handle cash, debit, and credit payments
  • Answer customer questions about menu items and promotions
  • Pack and organize takeout and delivery orders
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly
  • Keep the cashier, front counter, and customer areas clean and organized
  • Restock packaging, drinks, sauces, and front-counter supplies
  • Handle customer concerns professionally
  • Assist the team during busy lunch, dinner, evening, and weekend shifts
  • Follow food safety, cleanliness, and restaurant procedures
