Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tandoor Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a tandoor cook you will play a vital role in meal preparation and ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare tandoor dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
  • Maintain a clean work area, including cooking stations, utensils, and equipment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Tandoor Cook or in a similar role within Indina restaurant industry.
  • Experience working with a tandoor is a MUST
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $3,000.00-$4,500.00 per month
