Full job description

Kashmiri Delight is looking for a Tandoor cook. Only the candidates with minumum 1 year of experience in Indian cuisine will be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain a traditional Indian tandoor oven.
  • Prepare and cook Indian breads, including naan, roti, and tandoori roti.
  • Prepare and cook tandoori dishes such as tandoori chicken, kebabs, tikka, and other marinated items.
  • Understand tandoor temperature control, cooking times, and proper cooking techniques.
  • Prepare marinades, seasonings, and ingredients for tandoor items.
  • Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
  • Coordinate with other kitchen staff during busy service hours.
