About Us
Biryani Plus is a growing South Asian restaurant committed to serving authentic and high-quality dishes in a welcoming environment. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Chief Cook to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chief Cook in preparing and cooking a variety of South Asian dishes, including biryani, kababs, curries, pulao, and other traditional specialties.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Assist with food preparation, inventory management, and kitchen organization.
  • Support menu development and daily kitchen operations.
  • Help with customer service duties when required, including taking orders, assisting customers, and ensuring an excellent dining experience.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience cooking South Asian cuisine (Afghan, Pakistani, Indian, or related cuisines).
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Customer service experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
