Job Overview

Royal Malabar Fine Dining is seeking a customer-focused and enthusiastic Fine Dining Server to provide exceptional service and create memorable dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indian and Kerala cuisine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver professional service in a fast-paced fine dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for guiding guests through the menu, taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest receives outstanding hospitality from arrival to departure. This role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the high standards of Royal Malabar Fine Dining.

Duties

  • Welcome guests and provide a warm, professional dining experience.
  • Present menus, explain dishes, and answer questions regarding Indian and Kerala cuisine.
  • Make food and beverage recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Accurately take and process food and beverage orders.
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with fine dining service standards.
  • Monitor tables throughout service to ensure guest satisfaction and promptly address requests.
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently while maintaining a clean dining area.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and management teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Process payments accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning service stations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards in all guest service areas.
  • Follow all restaurant policies, health and safety regulations, and service standards.
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
  • Promote restaurant specials, events, and menu features to enhance the guest experience.
