Full job description

Tapri Chai is a vibrant Indian café dedicated to delivering authentic Indian flavors with exceptional service. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Indian Cook to join our team and help elevate our culinary offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes, including curries, snacks, and chai.
  • Ensure all food preparation meets the highest standards of hygiene and quality.
  • Assist with daily cleaning tasks, including kitchen equipment and work areas.
  • Maintain inventory and restock supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and menu items.
  • (Bonus) Work as a barista, preparing chai, coffee, and other beverages.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Indian restaurants.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including traditional cooking methods and ingredients.
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Team player with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to establish a long-term relationship with the team and grow together.

What We Offer:

  • $48,000 per year
  • 50 hours per week
