Job Overview

Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be the backbone of our food service operation, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are spotless and ready for use. Your energetic attitude and attention to detail will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in food handling, restaurant operations, and hospitality service.

Duties

  • Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff.
  • Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
  • Follow safety procedures related to food handling and sanitation regulations.
  • Restock supplies such as napkins, condiments, and utensils to ensure readiness for service.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
  • Strong attention to detail when cleaning and organizing kitchen areas.
  • Good communication skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Basic understanding of food handling safety practices.
  • Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory; a positive attitude and willingness to contribute are essential.
