We are looking Experience Line Cook to help Head Chef. If you are person with a passion in cooking particularly in Indian Cuisine and looking to start with your minimum skills of cooking we are here to hire. Responsible for Preparation, help cooking, cutting vegetables, Food prep as per head chef guidelines:

Job Responsibility

  • Eager to learn & help head chef, ability to work with tandoor.
  • Must know how to use Dough Mixers & how to make the dough
  • Must familiar with all Indian Curries & Spices
  • Must be experienced & ability to prepare variety of Naan Bread / Roti / Parathas
  • Prepare & set up food stations according to Kitchen requirements.
  • Responsible for Preparation, Cooking, cutting vegetables, Food prepared as per take-out order
  • Follow recipes, portions, presentation specifications as set by the head chef
  • Update head chef every day about the preparation of every day curries
  • Must have understanding how to properly use and maintain all equipment
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanness of kitchen and equipments.
  • Perform the check on refrigeration/freezer temperature and dry storage for proper handling
  • Ensuring all food safety/storage stations maintains cleanness and all food items are properly covered with lid at all the time and stored appropriately at the end of shift everyday.
  • Must have full Understanding and knowledge about public health guidelines, complies with all safety, sanitation & food handling procedures of restaurant.
  • Assist & help in other areas of the kitchen as needed.
  • Knowledge of how use cleaning supplies & safely handling them
  • Cleaning up the Kitchen & surfaces and end of everyday that includes wiping, brooming & mopping entire kitchen.
  • Help as required
  • Fast paced environment
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Must have own transportation or ability to arrange commute
  • On-time shift attendance is must

Language Ability to Listening, Reading / Writing / Speaking

  • English (Must), Hindi (Preferred but not required)

Job Types: Part-Time Permanent (3/4 Hours Shift) Long term commitment required.

Experience:

  • Line Cook 1 year (In similar setup required)
  • Food preparation: 1 year (In similar setup required)

Certification:

  • Food Handler Certificate (preferred)
  • Smartserve

Shift Day

  • Tuesday to Sunday
  • Days - 11:30 to 3:00pm
  • Evening - 5pm to 9:30 to 10pm.
