Nous recherchons un(e) gérant(e) de restaurant expérimenté(e) et motivé(e) pour superviser les opérations quotidiennes de notre restaurant de cuisine indienne et pakistanaise. Le/la candidat(e) idéal(e) possède une excellente connaissance de la cuisine sud-asiatique, de solides compétences en gestion, ainsi qu’une expérience confirmée dans la supervision du personnel de salle et de cuisine. Vous assurerez une coordination efficace entre la cuisine et le service afin de garantir une expérience client exceptionnelle.

Responsabilités principales :

  • Superviser l’ensemble des opérations quotidiennes du restaurant (salle et cuisine)
  • Gérer, encadrer et superviser directement le personnel de cuisine (chefs, cuisiniers, aides-cuisiniers)
  • Coordonner avec le chef cuisinier afin d’assurer un flux de travail efficace en cuisine
  • Veiller à la qualité, au goût et à la présentation des plats indiens et pakistanais
  • Former le personnel de cuisine sur les recettes, le contrôle des portions, l’hygiène et la sécurité alimentaire
  • Assurer le respect des normes de salubrité et de manipulation des aliments
  • Résoudre les problèmes liés à la cuisine (retards, manque de personnel, qualité)
  • Maintenir une communication fluide entre la cuisine et le personnel de salle
  • Recruter, former, planifier et évaluer le personnel (cuisine et salle)
  • Gérer les inventaires, incluant les épices et ingrédients spécialisés sud-asiatiques
  • Contrôler les coûts alimentaires, réduire le gaspillage et optimiser l’efficacité de la cuisine
  • Offrir un excellent service à la clientèle et gérer les plaintes de façon professionnelle
  • Superviser les finances quotidiennes, incluant les ventes et les rapports
  • Collaborer à la planification du menu et au développement de nouveaux plats

Qualifications :

  • Expérience confirmée en tant que gérant(e) de restaurant
  • Expérience solide en gestion du personnel et des opérations de cuisine
  • Bonne connaissance de la cuisine indienne et pakistanaise
  • Excellentes compétences en leadership et en gestion d’équipe
  • Capacité à travailler sous pression dans un environnement dynamique
  • Connaissance des normes d’hygiène et de salubrité alimentaire
  • Compétences organisationnelles et capacité à résoudre les problèmes
  • Expérience en gestion des coûts et des inventaires

Compétences souhaitées :

  • Expérience en cuisine (un atout)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our Indian and Pakistani restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of South Asian cuisine, excellent leadership skills, and proven experience managing both front-of-house and kitchen teams. You will ensure smooth coordination between service and kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations, including front-of-house and kitchen activities
  • Directly manage and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and prep staff
  • Coordinate with the head chef to ensure efficient kitchen workflow and timely food preparation
  • Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation to ensure authenticity of Indian and Pakistani dishes
  • Train kitchen staff on recipes, portion control, hygiene, and safety standards
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and compliance with health regulations
  • Resolve kitchen-related issues such as delays, staffing shortages, or quality concerns
  • Maintain strong communication between kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service
  • Hire, schedule, and evaluate both front-of-house and kitchen employees
  • Manage inventory, including spices, meats, and specialty South Asian ingredients
  • Control food costs, reduce waste, and monitor kitchen efficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints professionally
  • Oversee budgeting, cash flow, and daily financial reporting
  • Plan menu updates and collaborate on new dishes or specials

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, preferably in Indian or Pakistani cuisine
  • Strong experience managing kitchen operations and staff
  • Knowledge of traditional cooking methods, spices, and regional dishes
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with inventory control and cost management

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on kitchen experience or culinary background
  • Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff
  • Strong communication between front and back of house
  • Multilingual skills (English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi) are an asset
