Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced South Indian Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. This role involves preparing authentic South Indian dishes and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for traditional South Indian cuisine and extensive experience in food preparation and restaurant management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase culinary expertise while leading a dedicated team in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes, including dosas, bonda , idlis, vadas, sambar, chutneys, and other regional specialties.
  • Manage food handling processes to maintain quality and safety in accordance with industry regulations.
  • Lead team management efforts by training new staff, coordinating schedules, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; place orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Ensure compliance with restaurant policies, health codes, and safety procedures at all times.
  • Serve dishes to customers with professionalism and hospitality, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with management on menu development and special event planning.
