Full job description

We are looking for a well-experienced Restaurant Manager to work for Sula Indian Restaurant, Main Street, located at 4172 Main St, Vancouver, BC V5V 3P7, Canada.

No. of Position: 01

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Oversee and Control inventory purchasing of food products, Indian spices, specialty

ingredients, beverages, and restaurant supplies while minimizing waste and controlling

operational costs.

● Plan, organize, and oversee daily restaurant operations including dine-in, take-out,

delivery, catering, and group reservations to ensure efficient service and customer

satisfaction.

● Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees on customer service, POS systems, menu

knowledge, Indian cuisine offerings, allergen awareness, and food safety procedures.

● Supervise, schedule, and coordinate front-of-house staff including servers, bartenders,

hosts, and shift supervisors while maintaining high hospitality and Indian dining service

standards.

● Monitor guest experience and resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally

while ensuring quality service for specialty Indian dishes, tandoori items, curries, and

vegetarian/vegan offerings.

● Work closely with kitchen management to ensure consistent quality, presentation, and

timely service of Indian cuisine, tandoor specialties, street food items, and cocktail

pairings.

● Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, workplace safety, and liquor licensing

regulations in accordance with provincial requirements.

● Analyze sales, labour, and operational reports, manage cash handling and POS

reconciliation, and implement procedures to improve efficiency and profitability.

● Support promotional activities, online ordering operations, private events, and marketing

initiatives highlighting authentic Indian cuisine and customer dining experiences to

increase restaurant sales and brand visibility.

Prerequisites:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Experience & Skills: 5 years in the Food Industry.

Language: English

Other skills;

Good Knowledge of Indian Cuisine

Hourly Rate: $39.00 for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
