Location: 1560 Dundas St, Unit 6, London, ON N5W 3C1

Pay: $17.60 -$20 per hour
Job Type: Full-time | Part-time | Permanent
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Tandoor Chef to join our growing kitchen team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook all tandoor items, including naan, garlic naan, butter naan, roti, laccha paratha, and other Indian breads.
  • Operate and manage the tandoor oven safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper dough preparation, portioning, and consistency in texture and quality.
  • Assist in preparing and finishing curries and gravies as needed during service.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, especially during peak hours.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 years experience in an Indian kitchen (required).
  • Strong knowledge of traditional Indian breads and tandoor cooking techniques.
  • Ability to handle high-volume service with speed and consistency.
  • Knowledge of Indian spices and curry preparation is an asset.
  • Food Handler Certification (preferred).
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
