Royal Malabar Indian Cuisine – Downtown London, Ontario

Royal Malabar Indian Cuisine is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to join our restaurant team.

Responsibilities:

  • Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing and kitchen areas.
  • Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and ingredients.
  • Keep kitchen floors, work surfaces, sinks, and equipment clean and sanitary.
  • Assist with garbage and recycling disposal.
  • Help with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen supplies when required.
  • Support cooks and other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
  • Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen cleaning duties.

Requirements:

  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour

Work Location: In person
