Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie specializing in Indian cuisine to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a vibrant restaurant environment dedicated to delivering exceptional Indian flavors.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes with precision and consistency.
  • Oversee the food preparation process, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen area.
  • Assist in menu development and suggest new dishes to enhance the culinary offerings.
  • Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during service hours.
  • Manage food handling procedures, including storage, portioning, and waste control.
  • Serve dishes to guests when required, providing excellent food service and hospitality.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, ingredients, and traditional cooking techniques.
  • Experience in the food industry with a focus on meal preparation and food safety standards.
  • Excellent skills in serving, food handling, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
