Duties

• Manage cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and implement appropriate measures to ensure safety.
• Restock bar inventory as needed, tracking supplies with basic math skills to manage stock levels effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and assist in food service when required.

Skills

• Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant serving or bartending, demonstrating strong knowledge of beverage preparation.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for efficient order processing and cashiering duties.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Basic math proficiency for cash handling, bill splitting, and inventory management tasks.
• Experience in hospitality or food service environments that emphasize teamwork, communication, and adaptability.
