Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong focus on food safety and quality. This role involves preparing and cooking menu items in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring excellent service and customer satisfaction. The Line Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to deliver delicious dishes efficiently and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist in food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
• Ensure timely delivery of orders to the dining area
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients
• Adhere to restaurant policies and health regulations to uphold a safe working environment

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards
• Experience with meal preparation and food industry best practices
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
