Southcentre Family Medical Clinic (SFMC) and Autism Exists Diagnosis Clinic (AEDC) offer a unique dual-clinic model that provides physicians with consistent billable clinical work from day one while they establish a thriving longitudinal family medicine practice.

Unlike many new family medicine opportunities where patient volumes may take months to build, our physicians divide their time between two complementary practices. While your family medicine panel grows, you will continue to see a steady flow of patients through our established Adult Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessment program, ensuring your schedule remains productive and your income remains consistent while building your family panel towards PCPCM.

Our current patient population includes significant unmet demand for comprehensive women’s health services. Many patients have specifically requested care from a female family physician, particularly for sensitive and intimate health concerns. Autism Exists Diagnosis Clinic

Autism Exists Diagnosis Clinic is Alberta's only dedicated private Adult Autism Spectrum Disorder assessment clinic.

With more than a decade of experience in adult ASD diagnostics and a well-established referral network, AEDC maintains a consistently strong waitlist for assessments.

Rather than waiting months to build a busy practice, physicians joining our team immediately participate in our ASD assessment program while simultaneously building their own family medicine panel.

The result is a full-time clinical schedule with diverse and meaningful work from the very beginning.

STRUCTURED ADULT ASD ASSESSMENT TRAINING

All physicians joining our team participate in our structured Adult ASD Assessment Training Program.

Unlike traditional educational programs, training is embedded within everyday clinical practice. Physicians continue to provide patient care and bill for their clinical services while receiving one-on-one mentorship, supervised assessments, case discussions, and progressive responsibility. This approach allows physicians to develop advanced expertise in Adult ASD assessment without sacrificing income during the training period.

Training includes:

• - Structured observation
• - Supervised patient assessments
• - Case conferences and mentorship
• - Report writing and diagnostic formulation
• - Progressive transition to independent ASD assessments

- Upon successful completion, physicians will independently perform Adult ASD assessments within Autism Exists Diagnosis Clinic while continuing their family medicine practice at Southcentre Family Medical Clinic.
