We are a fast growing boutique (ranking as one of the fastest growing business in Canada in both 2024 and 2025 by the Globe and Mail ratings), downtown Toronto based accounting practice looking for an enthusiastic and experienced staff accountant to join our ranks. Our firm focuses on tax advisory, compliance and accounting work - we do not do any audits or review engagements!

We are looking for someone who can step in immediately as such the following are a must:

  • At least 3 tax seasons (recent tax seasons) in a small - midsize Canadian CPA firm with a focus on corporate and personal tax (as we don't do audits or reviews) - the successful candidate should have at least 3 years experience for this role (preference to 4+ tax seasons);
  • Experience in using Caseware, Caseview and Taxprep (or Profile);
  • Strong tax knowledge and experience in working with owner managed business;
  • Designated CPA will be looked upon favourably (or working towards a designation);
  • Experience in working with professionals (healthcare and others) is preferred.

Great communication skills will help the successful candidate succeed in this role.
