Job duties:

The Logistics Coordinator supports the efficient movement and storage of goods by helping with tasks like tracking shipments, preparing documents, and communicating with carriers. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail and proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Excel.

Key responsibilities

  • Shipment coordination: Assist in tracking shipments, managing delivery schedules, and coordinating with suppliers and carriers to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Documentation: Prepare and process shipping documents, packing lists, and other import/export paperwork accurately.
  • Data management: Ensure data for reporting is complete and accurate, and assist with inventory and supply chain data analysis.
  • Procurement support: Help with the procurement process by obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and following up on deliveries.
  • Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and provide updates.
  • Process improvement: Support change order management and assist with quality control activities.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Organizational and communication skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders is crucial.
  • Attention to detail: Essential for ensuring the accuracy of documentation and data.
