Scope

The Manager, Strategic Delivery & Project Management is responsible for leading and overseeing the full project management function across Pride Signs’ national signage, digital solutions, architectural panel, and branded environment programs. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to the Project Management team while also directly managing key high-profile client programs and complex projects.

Key Objectives and Accountabilities

  • Lead, mentor, coach, and support the Project Management team to ensure consistent project execution standards and strong client service.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations and company profitability objectives.
  • Establish and maintain project management processes, reporting standards, KPIs, and best practices that support operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Oversee the successful execution of signage, digital menu board, architectural solutions, and national rollout programs.
  • Directly manage select strategic or high-value projects and key client accounts.

What you will do

  • Provide guidance, leadership, and performance management to Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
  • Manage resource planning, project assignments, workload balancing, and departmental priorities.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, contracts, schedules, and client requirements to ensure project readiness.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, execution plans, milestone tracking, and reporting structures.
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings, production reviews, installation planning meetings, and client status meetings.
  • Monitor and support project profitability through effective forecasting, change management, and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor project change orders and cost control measures.
  • Lead escalation management and resolve complex project or client issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee project documentation, reporting, and data accuracy within ERP and project management systems.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, budgets, schedules, quality standards, and installation readiness.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, responsiveness, professionalism, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional departments, including Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Graphics, Logistics, Installation, and Service, to proactively identify and resolve project risks, scheduling conflicts, material challenges, and operational constraints in support of successful project execution.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Support continuous improvement, strategic planning, and operational initiatives that enhance project delivery performance, communication, accountability, quality, process efficiency, client growth, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain current knowledge of evolving technologies, industry trends, materials, manufacturing methods, digital signage solutions, and architectural systems, while supporting the development and implementation of scalable systems and technologies that enhance project execution, operational efficiency, and project visibility.
  • Support and ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, health & safety requirements, company policies, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory obligations throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and development of Project Management staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we need

  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive project management experience within signage, architectural solutions, construction, manufacturing, digital signage, or related industries.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience managing project teams.
  • Strong understanding of custom manufacturing, signage systems, digital menu boards, architectural panel systems, installation coordination, and national program execution.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets, margins, forecasting, and change orders.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, project management software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, installation sequencing, permitting, and construction coordination is considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline is preferred.
  • PMP designation or equivalent project management certification is considered an asset.
