About Us
We are a growing immigration consultancy company based in Langley, British Columbia. We assist clients with Canadian immigration applications, including work permits, employer-supported applications, permanent residence applications, and other immigration-related services.
We are looking for a motivated Junior Immigration Consultant / Junior RCIC or recent immigration program graduate who is eager to learn, grow, and develop under mentorship. This position is ideal for someone at the beginning of their immigration career who wants hands-on experience in both immigration file review and office administration.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will assist with reviewing immigration applications, organizing client files, communicating with candidates and employers, collecting documents, preparing contracts, following up on pending items, issuing invoices, and supporting general office operations.
This is a junior role with mentorship and training. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, professional, and willing to learn different parts of the immigration business.
Main Responsibilities
Review work permit, permanent residence, and other immigration application files for completeness and consistency.
Assist with preparing, organizing, and reviewing immigration forms and supporting documents.
Communicate with candidates to request missing documents and follow up on pending information.
Communicate with employers to collect job offers, employment contracts, business documents, and supporting information.
Prepare and issue service agreements, contracts, invoices, and client documentation.
Maintain organized digital and physical client files.
Track application progress, deadlines, document requests, and follow-ups.
Assist with administrative tasks such as emails, scheduling, data entry, document naming, file management, and CRM updates.
Support senior staff with case preparation and quality control.
Learn internal procedures and contribute to improving office workflow.
Qualifications
Recent graduate of an immigration consultant program, newly licensed RCIC, or candidate working toward RCIC licensing preferred.
Basic knowledge of Canadian immigration programs, work permits, LMIA-based or LMIA-exempt applications, and permanent residence pathways.
Strong attention to detail and ability to review documents carefully.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable communicating with clients, candidates, and employers in a professional manner.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files at the same time.
Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow under mentorship.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe PDF, and basic administrative systems.
Previous office, legal assistant, immigration assistant, or client service experience is an asset.
