Rathod Law Firm is one of the fastest-growing law firms in Ontario, known for handling complex, high-risk, and refused immigration cases across Canada and internationally. We work on a wide spectrum of immigration matters, including temporary visas, permanent residence, business immigration, refugee claims, LMIA applications, and Federal Court matters.

We are now looking to add a highly experienced RCIC to our team who can take ownership of files, guide caseworkers, and work closely with Mr. Kapil Rathod on complex immigration matters.

Position Overview

This is a senior-level, hands-on role for an RCIC who has practical experience across almost all Canadian immigration categories and is confident reviewing applications, identifying risks, and maintaining the highest level of accuracy and compliance.

You will play a key leadership role in ensuring the quality of files, mentoring caseworkers, and supporting the lawyer on detailed and complex applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and audit immigration applications prepared by caseworkers before submission
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IRCC regulations and policies
  • Work closely with Mr. Kapil Rathod on complex, refused, and high-risk cases
  • Guide and mentor caseworkers on different categories of immigration applications
  • Identify red flags, gaps, and risk factors in applications and suggest corrective strategies
  • Handle and review applications including (but not limited to):
  • Study Permits
  • Visitor Visas & Super Visas
  • Work Permits (Open, Employer-Specific, Spousal)
  • LMIA Applications
  • Permanent Residence (Express Entry, PNPs, Spousal Sponsorships, etc.)
  • Business Immigration & Start-Up Visa Applications
  • Refugee Claims
  • Humanitarian & Compassionate (H&C) Applications
  • Ensure strong documentation, submission letters, and procedural compliance
  • Maintain strict attention to minute details in every file
  • Meet deadlines and maintain high productivity in a fast-paced environment
  • Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Must be a Licensed RCIC (CICC member in good standing)
  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Canadian immigration
  • Experience across multiple immigration categories (temporary + permanent)
  • Strong experience in Business Immigration, Start-Up Visa, and LMIA applications is required
  • Proven ability to review, assess, and correct immigration files
  • Excellent knowledge of IRCC laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work above and beyond when required
  • Punctual, reliable, and committed to quality work
