Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technologist-Xray to join our healthcare team. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to patient care and safety. The Technologist-Xray will work closely with medical staff to ensure accurate imaging results while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly to obtain optimal images
  • Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
  • Ensure all images are of high quality for accurate diagnosis, making adjustments as necessary
  • Maintain detailed records of procedures performed and patient information in compliance with privacy laws
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and proper functioning of imaging equipment
  • Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide support as needed.

Experience

  • 1 year Canadian experience working as an X-ray technologist after finishing the college here in Canada.
  • Strong technical skills with proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and related imaging tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

Pay: $39.00-$41.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
