Position Overview

This role requires a motivated and committed leader with a strong background in retail sales and team management. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, lead by example, and ensure the highest standards of customer service and operational performance are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide, motivate, and support staff to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Manage inventory levels and make informed stock control decisions
  • Merchandise product
  • Maintain exceptional standards in customer service, product quality, and health & safety
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
  • Create and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently
  • Lead employee training and ongoing development initiatives
  • Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action when required
  • Organize workflow and clearly communicate responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Maintain a strong, visible presence on the sales floor and support all departments as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience in a comparable leadership role (retail preferred)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and stabilize a team
  • Proven ability to multitask, delegate effectively, and follow through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with computer networks
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and product knowledge
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 30 lbs, extended standing and walking, climbing, kneeling, and crouching
