Title: IELTS Teacher

Company: New Field Education Group

Location: 2227 S Millway

NFE, a recognized educational institution in Ontario, is actively seeking dedicated, engaging, innovative, and collaborative teachers for our IELTS programs designed for international high school students. The position is set to start in the 2023-2024 Fall sessions and potentially extend into future academic years.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Teaching experience in ESL/IELTS at least 2 years.
  • Passionate about teaching, with high responsibility and dedication.
  • Fluent in Mandarin.
  • Please provide your recent IELTS-Academic results and any certificates related to this position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Teach IELTS to the school's students in both larger class settings and 1-on-1 environments.
  • Collaborate with students, other teachers, and school administrators to identify student needs and assess student progress and achievement.

Job Type:

  • Part-time, with potential for transition to full-time status and the opportunity to receive healthcare benefits after a defined period of teaching.
  • Hours: 3:30pm - 7:00pm on weekdays, and 9am-4pm on weekends.

Salary: $30 and above per hour

Education: Bachelor's Degree (required)

Experience: Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Language: Mandarin (required)

Work Location: In person
