Windsor Hall is a co-educational International Baccalaureate (IB) school in Richmond, BC, serving Grades 6–9. Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and student-centered Middle School IB Teacher (MYP) to join our team for the 2026-2027 academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for educators with IB MYP experience or those passionate about inquiry-based, concept-driven learning.

Subject areas may include:

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Arts (Visual Arts/Drama)
  • ADST (Applied Design, Skills & Technologies)

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver IB MYP - aligned units using concept-based and inquiry-driven instructions.
  • Design units of inquiry incorporating global contexts, key and related concepts.
  • Develop criterion-referenced assessments (MYP A-D criteria)
  • Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners.
  • Foster approaches to learning (ATL skills) and student agency
  • Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate in IB unit planning and interdisciplinary learning
  • Contribute to school life through extracurriculars and community involvement

Qualifications

  • Valid BC Teaching Certificate (required)
  • Experience teaching middle school (Grades 6-9)
  • IB MYP experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with : Inquiry-based learning, Concept-based learning, and IB assessment practices
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
