Full job description

We're looking for reliable, friendly, and hardworking team members to join our late-night crew at Donair Dude Kitsilano!

If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a busy restaurant environment, and take pride in doing a great job, we'd love to hear from you.

Our late-night shifts can get busy, so we're looking for someone who can stay organized, work well with others, and help us deliver great food and friendly service while keeping our restaurant clean and running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare and assemble customer orders accurately, following Donair Dude's food quality and portion standards.
  • Provide friendly, welcoming, and efficient customer service.
  • Operate the POS system to enter orders and process payments accurately.
  • Handle dine-in, takeout, and third-party delivery orders.
  • Keep food preparation areas, equipment, counters, floors, and customer areas clean and organized throughout the shift.
  • Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties, following food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Complete end-of-night closing duties, including thorough cleaning, sanitizing, restocking, and preparing the restaurant for the next day.
  • Support your teammates and help keep operations running smoothly during busy periods.

What We're Looking For

  • Availability to work from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM, including weekends.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant, fast-food, or customer service environment is an asset.
  • FOODSAFE Level 1 certification, or willingness to obtain it.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the role, including standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with cleaning, sanitation, and closing responsibilities as part of the job.
  • Ability to stay calm, organized, and focused during busy periods.
  • A positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
  • Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation or the ability to commute home safely after late-night shifts.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
