We are looking for Vac Truck Operators who will be responsible for operating units to perform excavation activities associated with pipeline, construction, and utility work.

Summary:

The Hydrovac Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vacuum trucks and services for Gear Equipment’s clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive and operate Hydro-Vac or Vacuum trucks
  • Maintain accurate reports including job site reports and driver inspection reports
  • Provide a safe, reliable, and professional service to Gear’s clients
  • Inspection of vehicle daily prior and after to starting any new jobs, report any concerns to supervisor
  • Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures
  • Complete tasks associated with excavation, trenching, and shoring
  • General clean-up and maintenance of units
  • Perform physically demanding tasks

Requirements:

  • Must be able to operate manual transmission
  • This position is a Unionized role. If selected, the candidate will be required to sign up with the Union.
  • Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Customer service focused
