Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Estimation and Project Management professional to join our team. This role involves preparing accurate electrical project estimates, managing project timelines, and coordinating with various team members to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge in electrical systems, construction processes, and project management tools, contributing to the efficient delivery of complex construction projects. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within a dynamic construction environment, supporting both operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Duties

  • Create detailed electrical estimates by reviewing blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
  • Utilize tools such as Housecall Pro and QuickBooks to review plans, perform takeoffs, and ensure accuracy in project scope.
  • Coordinate with project teams to establish realistic schedules
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously by creating and maintaining detailed project schedules and budgets.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including bid analysis and ensuring the timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor project progress through regular site visits, meetings, and updates to ensure adherence to timelines and specifications.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, costs, and potential risks
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and construction regulations throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with other trades using schematics and construction management software to coordinate and plan.

Skills

  • The ability to schedule/ book Hydro and ESA inspections
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction drawings.
  • Strong experience with construction estimating software such as Housecall Pro or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with project management, scheduling and resource planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently through excellent time management skills.
  • Solid understanding of construction management principles within the electrical or general construction industry.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. This position is integral to ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Pay: $80,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
