Job Duties:

  • Post open roles and proactively source and headhunt qualified candidates
  • Review resumes, conduct first-round interviews, and complete reference checks
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Support additional HR responsibilities as they arise
  • Review and verify timesheets across all offices
  • Manage Accounts Payable, including processing vendor and credit card accounts
  • Collect, post, and reconcile receipts to ensure accurate and complete records
  • Perform job cost posting to keep project financials on track
  • Complete account reconciliations for accurate, up-to-date financials
  • Provide coverage for Accounts Receivable as needed (invoicing, posting payments, deposits, and statements)
  • Manage incoming calls, take detailed messages, and handle mail sorting with a customer-first approach
  • Order office supplies as needed to keep the team running smoothly
  • Maintain filing systems and provide strong organizational support across the office
  • Assist with developing and refining policies and procedures to improve efficiency
  • Assist other office locations by providing coverage when needed
  • Take on ad hoc projects and other duties as required to support the team

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of office management and/or bookkeeping experience (experience in the construction or restoration industry is a strong asset)
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience
  • Experience in human resources, recruitment, or a related field is a strong asset

Remuneration: Based on experience, with a full benefits package provided upon successful completion of the probationary period.
