What you bring:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a similar field
  • CPHR Designation or actively working towards it
  • At least 8 years experience in a generalist or advisor capacity
  • The understanding to work on-site most of the time in this role (it still comes with some flexibility)
  • Absolute self-starter and bringing ideas forward. Seeing the big picture and not afraid of trying something new
  • Being ok with traveling on a frequent basis (around 25%)
  • Always looking out for a better process and solutions that are best for our employees but also fit business needs
  • Confidence in decision making, and leading the team

What you do:

  • Being a true business partner collaborating with all levels within the company
  • Regular travel to offices across the country
  • Researching and introducing new trends
  • Staying up to date on Employment Standards and other legislation
  • Supporting strategic objectives
  • Dealing with and managing employee relations issues
  • Conducting investigations
  • Developing and maintaining policies and handbooks
  • Creating and facilitating training for managers and employees

Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
