For over 100 years, we’ve built complex components for mining, steel, energy, and infrastructure projects across North America. Our success is driven by precision, integrity, and the strength of our people — and we’re looking for an experienced HR Manager to help us grow the next generation of skilled talent.

  • Coordinate training and professional development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR metrics.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention programs to strengthen company culture.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to management and leadership teams.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario employment standards and health & safety legislation.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on HR administration with strategic leadership.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • CHRP or CHRL designation (or working toward one) considered an asset.

Why Join CMI

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • A stable, family-owned company with deep roots in Niagara.
  • Opportunity to shape HR systems and culture during a period of strong growth and modernization.
  • Work with a dedicated leadership team committed to people, technology, and community.
