Job Description

Assurance Home Care is an in-home care company focusing on high-end services for its client's needs. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about what they do, understand, and respect the desire for independence while working closely with our clients. Our services include everything from companionship to housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, personal care and grooming assistance and running errands. We are seeking the ideal candidate who is patient, physically capable, and committed to delivering respectful, person-centered care.

Job Type: Part Time - Live in care

  • Provide mobility support and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Provide care and companionship for individuals and families during periods of incapacitation, convalescence or family disruption
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing
  • Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding clients
  • May perform routine health-related duties
  • May perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds.

Physical Requirement

  • Ability to safely preform lifts, transfers and repositioning for a client with higher support needs
  • comfortable working with mobility aids, and/or lift equipment (training provided if needed)
  • Ability to stand, bend, and assist for extended periods.

Education

  • PSW Certification
  • Valid CPR certification

Experience

  • 2 year experience or more
