Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Full Time Pastry Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry arts, with the ability to create visually stunning and delicious desserts. This role involves preparing a variety of baked goods, decorating cakes, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. The Pastry Chef will contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences through innovative pastry creations and excellent kitchen practices.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a wide range of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, tarts, and other desserts according to established recipes and standards
  • Decorate cakes and pastries with creative designs using various cake decorating techniques
  • Manage food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist in packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes with attention to detail
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and uphold customer satisfaction
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

  • Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or a related culinary field within a restaurant or bakery setting
  • Strong skills in cake decorating, food preparation, and cooking techniques
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
  • Experience working in the food industry with an emphasis on bakery or pastry production is preferred
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in baking and pastry work
  • Excellent customer service skills are a plus for roles involving direct interaction with clients or event setups
