Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Guest Service Manager to lead our team at The Front desk . The candidate must have strong customer service skills and leaderships skills .

The candidate must have prior hotel experience to be considered for this position. Minimum 5 years in a manager or supervisory roll.

This role is vital to ensuring our guests receive top-notch service from the moment they arrive. Your contributions will enhance our reputation as a premier destination/

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and assist them with their inquiries and reservations.
  • Resolving issues with all guests complaints, and providing support for the front desk staff.
  • Manage front desk operations efficiently, including check-ins and check-outs.
  • Creating schedules
  • Coaching staff
  • Training new staff
  • Inventory control
  • Invoicing
  • Credit card reconciling
  • Commission reconciling
  • Payment for groups
  • Co ordinate with sales manager on groups
  • Implementing new procedures
  • Preventive maintenance Inspections
  • Dealing with all guest complaints
  • Organizing pest control preventive
  • Weekly rooms inspections for quality control
  • documenting and discipline of staff
  • Approving staff payroll
  • approving night audit reports and looking for discrepancies
  • Bring all concerns to General Manager
  • On Call required, alternating weeks, and weekends.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in hotel supervisory of management role
  • On Call required
  • Knowledge of revenue management
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations , and sometimes difficult situations
  • Bilingual is required for this position
  • Experience in Opera Cloud is an asset
