This hands-on, working position will be responsible for assisting the Chef with the successful execution of the daily operations of the kitchen including:

• Perform in all kitchen positions as required (line, prep, banquets, buffets)
• Lead & coach the kitchen team towards providing the highest levels of service & hospitality
• Build on our reputation for providing high quality, visually attractive & flavorful food offerings
• Supervise the preparation and cooking of various food items
• Mentor kitchen team members including coaching, evaluating & training
• Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation

Qualifications:

• Red Seal and / or Culinary Arts Diploma an asset
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working on the line
• Minimum 1 year experience Supervising other workers
• Passion about Culinary Arts, A knack for taking the ordinary and making it extraordinary
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal & customer service skills
• Stable Work History
• Ability to train, mentor & empower
• High level of enthusiasm and energy
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Creative, detail oriented, independent team player
