WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Are you a culinary superstar? Join the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel as a full-time Cook! Get ready for a taste of excitement in our state-of-the-art kitchen. You'll work a minimum of 30 hours per week, earn $20.50 per hour, and enjoy gratuities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB
If you're a cleanliness advocate and a food quality aficionado, we want YOU to join our culinary crew. Together, we'll serve up nothing but the best to our guests, leaving their taste buds dancing in delight with every bite.
  • Assist the Chef de Partie with maintaining food quality at Banquet Kitchen and Halo restaurant.
  • Keep kitchen areas spick and span, from prep areas to freezers and fridges.
  • Monitor fridge and freezer temps daily to ensure food safety.
  • Follow company recipes for top-notch food quality and service.
  • Report maintenance needs and be the bridge between kitchen and Front of the House Ambassadors.
  • Assist Chef de Partie with ordering, organization, and proper rotation of all food
  • Make special guest requests shine with accuracy and excellence.
  • Maintain food quality and service in accordance with standardized company recipes and procedures
  • Help with menu item photos for that picture-perfect consistency.
  • Assist Sous Chef and Chef de Partie in monitoring and recording safe temperatures of hot and cold foods
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health regulations and monitor food handling and storage practices daily, with proper labeling.
  • Maintain good relationships with our Stewarding Team.
  • Attend meetings and share your suggestions for solutions.
  • From grilling to pastry, you'll tackle various kitchen duties with gusto.
  • Perform all other tasks assigned by Sous Chef and Chef de Partie.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE CONSIDERED
Education and Experience
