Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Server and Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable dining experiences for our guests! In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes their orders, and ensures they receive exceptional service from start to finish. You’ll also handle cashiering duties with precision, managing transactions efficiently while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Whether you're serving up delicious meals or processing payments with accuracy, your contribution will be vital to our vibrant restaurant community.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation and quality standards are met
  • Handle cashiering responsibilities including cash handling, processing payments, and giving correct change
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, counters, and workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards and guest safety
  • Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally

Qualifications

  • Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is highly preferred; a background in the food industry is a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology for cashiering tasks
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
  • Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required
  • Demonstrated hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling techniques
