Line Cook

South Island Hospitality Ltd is looking for a Line Cook to join our professional kitchen team at Finn's restaurant. We are looking for a reliable cook who takes pride in quality, works well under pressure, and thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and presentation standards
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and timing
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
  • Keep workstations clean and organized
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
  • Monitor ingredients and notify management of shortages

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in a professional kitchen
  • Strong cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
  • Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment
  • Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
  • Food Safe certification an asset
