Job Title: Barista/Front of House Staff
Location: Bready Cafe – Yonge & Eglinton
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Wanna join our newly opened Front of House team at Yonge & Eglinton?

Bready Café is now open at our Yonge & Eglinton location, and we’re hiring for the new season! We’re looking for experienced and passionate team members to join our Front of House team. If you’re friendly, energetic, and passionate about great service, we’d love to hear from you.

If you have a passion for coffee, smoothies, pastries, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Barista/Front of House team members who thrives in a busy café environment and is committed to providing outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea,smoothies and cocktails.
  • Take customer orders and provide excellent, professional customer service
  • Operate the POS system and handle cash transactions accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house area
  • Follow food safety and handling procedures to ensure product quality and safety
  • Assist with light food preparation (sandwiches, paninis, pastries, etc.)
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

  • Smart Serve certification is required
  • Minimum 1 year Barista experience
  • Minimum 2 years hospitality/customer service experience
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash handling
  • Solid math skills for cash handling and basic inventory tasks
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
