Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Food Service Associate. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional dining experiences for our customers. You will be responsible for various tasks within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that food is prepared safely and served efficiently.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and assembling dishes.
  • Serve food to customers with a friendly demeanor, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Skills

  • A strong understanding and appreciation of Caribbean food and culture.
  • Experiences cooking Caribbean dishes.
  • Strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
