Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking, with a passion for delivering excellent food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
  • Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all food items
  • Support serving staff by preparing plates for service and ensuring timely delivery of orders
  • Monitor inventory levels for ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line/prep cook in a restaurant setting
