Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Production Cook to join our food manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and processing food products according to recipes, quality standards, food safety regulations, and production schedules. This role requires strong communication skills, teamwork, and experience working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and process food products according to approved recipes and specifications.
  • Operate cooking equipment such as kettles, mixer, and other food processing machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor cooking temperatures, ingredient measurements, and production parameters to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
  • Complete production records, batch sheets, and quality documentation accurately.
  • Perform equipment cleaning and sanitation procedures according to company standards.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance, and Production, to meet production targets.
  • Opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience working in food manufacturing, food processing, or industrial food production facilities is required.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation procedures.
  • Experience operating food processing and cooking equipment is considered an asset.
  • Ability to follow recipes, production schedules, and written work instructions accurately.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
  • Comfortable working in hot, cold, and fast-paced production environments.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing and food production environment.
  • Shift work, overtime, and weekend work may be required based on production needs.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
