What You’ll Be Doing

As a Walking Tour Guide, you will:

  • Welcome guests and create a great first impression
  • Lead engaging walking tours throughout Saint John
  • Safely guide groups between landmarks and tour stops
  • Share entertaining stories, local history and interesting facts
  • Answer guest questions and provide local recommendations
  • Assist with tour logistics when required
  • Keep tours organized, punctual and on schedule
  • Communicate with our Operations and Guest Services teams
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience from beginning to end

This is a walking tour position. No driving or personal vehicle is required.

Who We’re Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Are comfortable walking and working outdoors for extended periods
  • Are friendly, outgoing and confident

  • Are comfortable working independently
  • Are available to work weekends, holidays and during peak tourism and cruise seasons

Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, customer service, education, acting, public speaking or storytelling is an asset—but a great personality, reliability and willingness to learn matter most.

  • Pay: $18.00–$20.00 CAD per hour, plus tips
