Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and friendly restaurant worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a clean and efficient environment. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food service industry and develop skills in food handling, cashiering, and restaurant operations. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
  • Manage cash handling accurately during transactions
  • Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
  • Assist with food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy hours
  • Support team members in various restaurant operations as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of food preparation, serving, cashiering, and sanitation practices
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
  • Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Commitment to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
