Full job description

Hi-Tec Profiles is searching for an experienced, highly organized Front Office Manager to support the daily operations of our Saskatoon office. Hi-Tec Saskatoon is a smaller office/shop working as a branch with our head office/main location in Regina.

Reporting to and accountable to the Director, Business Operations, this role is ideal for a confident administrative professional who can work independently, take ownership of day-to-day front office priorities, and keep office processes running smoothly while supporting customers, accounting and documentation workflows, staff, and visitors.

What You Will Do in This Role

· Greet customers, vendors, visitors, and employees in person and by telephone while delivering excellent customer service

· Oversee front office workflow, including reception, general correspondence, data entry, filing, and document management

· Support invoicing, basic accounting, payment processing, accounts receivable follow-up, collections, sales analysis, and related administrative records

· Maintain customer, employee, and business confidentiality with professionalism and discretion

· Coordinate office supplies, records, forms, and other administrative resources to support efficient daily operations

· Assist management and team members with administrative support, scheduling, communication, reporting, and follow-up tasks

· Take ownership of additional office functions depending on experience, including freight logistics, payroll and benefits administration, social media, and digital advertising support

· Provide regular updates to the Director, Business Operations on office priorities, issues, and follow-up items requiring direction or approval

Requirements

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a busy office environment

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach

· Experience with invoicing, basic accounting, or administrative financial processes

· Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and team members

· Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities while remaining accountable to the Director, Business Operations

· Willingness to take initiative, solve problems, and support changing office priorities as needed

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and general office technology

· Ability to travel occasionally within Saskatchewan as required

What Will Put You Ahead

Accounting, bookkeeping, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software, or accounts receivable collections experience

Experience in manufacturing, steel processing, industrial services, or a related environment

Formal education or training in office administration, business administration, accounting, or a related field

Logistics experience, especially in a shipping, freight, or customer order environment
