Estate Couple

Employment Type: Full-Time, Live-In
Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 combined annually, based on experience
Accommodation: Private live-in accommodation provided
Food: Provided

Position Overview:

We are seeking a mature, reliable, and experienced Live-In Domestic / Estate Couple to take responsibility for the day-to-day care, organization, and upkeep of a private residence and its surrounding property.

This is a long-term opportunity for a dependable couple who takes genuine pride in maintaining a home to a high standard and enjoys providing hands-on support across both household and outdoor responsibilities.

The successful couple will work together as a trusted household team, ensuring the residence remains clean, organized, well-maintained, comfortable, and guest-ready at all times. The role offers a varied working environment, with quieter periods during the week and increased support required when the household has guests, gatherings, special occasions, or maintenance needs.

What will you be doing?

  • Maintain the residence to a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
  • Handle housekeeping, laundry, ironing, linens, and general wardrobe care.
  • Manage grocery shopping, household errands, supplies, and inventory.
  • Prepare simple meals and assist with kitchen organization, meal preparation, and cleanup.
  • Provide daily care for household pets, including dog walking, feeding, and routine needs.
  • Assist with gardening, seasonal outdoor upkeep, pool maintenance, and general property care.
  • Handle minor household maintenance and identify repairs or issues requiring attention.
  • Coordinate contractors, tradespeople, landscapers, pool services, and other service providers when required.
  • Prepare the residence for guests and events and assist with hosting, setup, and post-event cleanup.
  • Provide transportation and driving support as required; at least one member of the couple must be a licensed driver.
  • Monitor the overall condition of the residence and property and proactively address household needs.
  • Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality while respecting the privacy and lifestyle of the household.
  • Provide additional household and estate support as required, with flexibility during busy periods, guests, or special events.

Must-Haves:

  • Previous 6+ years of experience in a private residence, estate, luxury household, hospitality, housekeeping, property management, or similar environment is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, proactively, and with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable living and working on the property with flexibility to support occasional evenings, weekends, guests, and special events.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail, cleanliness, and presentation.
  • Comfortable handling a combination of indoor household and outdoor property responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Trustworthy, discreet, respectful, and committed to maintaining strict household privacy and confidentiality.
  • Service-oriented approach with a genuine pride in maintaining a home and property to a high standard.
  • At least one member of the couple must be a licensed and confident driver.
  • Comfortable respecting the homeowners' privacy, personal beliefs, preferences, and lifestyle.

Expectations:

The couple will reside on the property in private accommodation provided by the employer.

While the position is not intended to require continuous 24/7 work, living on the property means the couple must be comfortable with a degree of flexibility and responding to reasonable household needs when required.

The expectation is that the couple will maintain a healthy balance between personal time and household responsibilities, while being available for planned events, guests, scheduled services, and occasional additional needs.

Pay: $110,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
