Full job description

The Basic Gist:

Hi, my name is The Mule. I love chef-inspired tacos, cult classics, tequila drinks, GOOD tunes, vegetarians, graffiti, vegans, mood lighting, queso & YOU.

I should also mention I'm 100% gluten free. And I'm 100% serious about that. Our bartenders have crafted a tequila-and-rye-focused cocktail menu that will surprise and fascinate, and we also have a variety of beers on tap.

We're bringing tacos, cocktails & vibes to Main Street in Milton, and we're building our opening team now. Our tacos range from classic to weird-and-wild-you’ve-gotta-try-this.

We offer a variety of fare that is sure to satisfy either the most dedicated carnivore or delight your vegetarian and/or vegan side.

The Job:

We are looking for some Servers to join our team! Here are the basics of what you would be responsible for:

  • Providing personable and efficient service to ensure guest needs are met at all times.
  • Confidently guiding guests in making the best decisions on what to order.
  • Seamlessly working with other staff to balance all responsibilities on a daily basis.
  • Taking a proactive role in encouraging teamwork, cooperation, productivity and a positive attitude within the working environment.
  • Completing all side duties, opening duties and closing duties as assigned.
  • Dealing with guest complaints in a professional, helpful and friendly manner.
  • Reporting any concerns to The Mule's Management Team.
  • Completing cash-outs accurately at the end of every shift and submitting for approval.
  • Attending any training or meetings as required by The Mule's Management Team or the Other Bird Operations Team.
  • Having the initiative to further develop skills and knowledge.
  • Previous experience with Toast POS will be an asset.
  • Other tasks as assigned by The Mule's Management Team.

Ideally, You Have Experience / Education:

  • 2+ years of restaurant serving experience is required.
  • Smart Serve certification is required.
