Overview

Only experienced candidate for minimum of 3 years experience as medical secretary to apply.

We are seeking a highly organized , experienced and detail-oriented Secretary to join our team. This role is essential in providing administrative support, managing communication channels, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience with Oscar EMR for minimum of 3 years. Prior experience in medical office settings is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately OSCAR EMR
  • Handle scheduling, appointment setting, and calendar management for staff and clients
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Proofread correspondence, forms, and reports to ensure accuracy and clarity
  • Support administrative tasks such as photocopying, faxing, mailing, and document preparation
  • Coordinate with other doctors to facilitate smooth communication and workflow
  • Maintaining clinic inventory and keep the clinic clean and tidy

Requirements

  • Proven administrative experience, for minimum of 3 years in a medical office setting
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency Oscar EMR
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills for handling front desk duties and client interactions
  • Ability to type quickly with high accuracy; proofreading skills are essential
  • Previous experience with Oscar is a must
  • Will consider only Canadian residents
