The Paul Davis GTA West Group operates across five franchise territories including Brantford/Woodstock, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, and Halton/Hamilton.

The existing opening for a General Labour/Mitigation Technician position is based out of our Brampton office. Travel in a company vehicle within the west GTA is required.

In the role of General Labour/Mitigation Technician you will be given the technical training and opportunity to create a career path in the demanding, yet greatly rewarding property damage restoration industry. You will have the opportunity to utilize the training and certifications earned as a valued member of a team of trained professionals delivering a world class service to others when they need it most—a team who will do all that they can to return to normalcy the homes and businesses in their communities that have suffered severe, if not catastrophic damage inflicted by strong winds, water and fire.

What you will need to bring

• Valid G or G2 Ontario driver’s license is required
• Safety-first mindset
• Commitment to train in the use of advanced equipment and technical methods to restore business and home environments, as well as the contents within those environments
• Diligence to pack and move customer belongings, carefully and safely
• Comfortable using mobile apps for work-related tasks and updates
• Dedication to providing exceptional customer experiences
• Willingness to share with team members overtime and on call responsibilities
• Desire to be part of a dynamic team helping others in times of crisis
• Aspiration to advance yourself through learning and skill development and certifications
• If hired, a clear criminal background check is required
